You pick an alias when you sign up, and that is what everyone sees. Other students never see your real name or your email.
Is My Own Campus free to use?
Yes. Signing up, posting, commenting and private chat are free. There are paid plans, but you do not need one.
Which universities can use it?
Any of them. Students anywhere can join, pick their university, and read their own campus feed or the global one.
Can I talk to students at other universities?
Yes. Switch the feed to the global view, or use Connect to get matched with a student anywhere for a text, voice or video chat.
How do you keep it safe?
You can block anyone, hide posts, and report anything that breaks the community guidelines. Private messages are only visible to the two people in the chat.
