Community Guidelines

WhisperWall (also known as My Own Campus) is built for students to share ideas, study together, and connect respectfully. These Community Guidelines explain what we expect from every user. They are part of our Terms of Service. Violations may result in content removal, feature restrictions, or permanent account termination.

WhisperWall is for adults eighteen (18) and older only. We have zero tolerance for content involving minors, sexual exploitation, or threats of violence.

Be respectful

Treat others with basic respect. Do not harass, bully, threaten, shame, or target people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.

Disagreement is fine. Abuse is not. Use block and report when someone crosses the line.

Age requirement

You must be at least 18 to use WhisperWall. Do not lie about your age. Do not solicit personal information from anyone you believe may be under 18. Report suspected underage users immediately.

Sexual and explicit content

Pornography, nudity intended to arouse, and sexually explicit conduct are not allowed. Any indication of child sexual exploitation will be reported to authorities and result in permanent removal.

Connect, calls, and recording

Connect may pair you with strangers. Stay in control: you may skip, block, or report at any time.

  • Do not pressure others into video, voice, or off-platform contact.
  • Do not record, screenshot, or redistribute live sessions without clear consent from everyone involved.
  • Do not share passwords, payment details, or government IDs in chat or calls.
  • Report harassment, scams, or threatening behavior right away.

Illegal activity

Do not use WhisperWall for unlawful activity, including drugs, weapons sales, fraud, hate crimes, or instructions for harm. We may preserve information and cooperate with law enforcement where required.

Spam and impersonation

Do not spam, run bots, run scams, or flood users with unwanted messages. Do not impersonate staff, celebrities, or other users. Do not misrepresent your identity to manipulate or harm others.

Posts, chat, and campus content

Whispers, confessions, comments, and group spaces must follow the same standards. No doxing, no sharing someone else's private information without permission, and no content that encourages self-harm or violence.

Purchases and marketplace conduct

Do not attempt payment fraud, chargeback abuse, or resale of accounts or plans outside approved flows. When paid plans are offered, billing disputes should go through Support.

How to report

Use in-app report and block tools when available. For urgent safety issues or policy questions, email whisperwall.help@gmail.com with a short description of what happened and when. Do not include passwords or unnecessary personal data.

Enforcement

We may warn, restrict, or remove accounts at our discretion. Serious or repeated violations, or conduct that puts others at risk, may lead to permanent removal without refund.
